Sigh......Javier contracted HFMD again! There are currently 6 confirmed cases in the childcare centre and now Javier had added one more to it. Surprisingly, Jerlene seems to be ok though they both played and slept together last night.
Jerlene can continue to stay in the school while I brought Javier home. In the previous few occasions, Javier only had red spots in his throat. This time, we can see blisters all over his hands and feet. Even without the doctor's confirmation, I'm already 100% sure that he really got it this time.

Jerlene has been asking for a bicycle for months. I had wanted to buy her one and today while buying groceries at Fairprice Xtra, I finally found one that is suitable for her and the best part is, there was a 20% discount. She was so excited and started cycling around our corridor.

As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I've bought more Play Doh for Jerlene. She started to work on it immediately. First she created a rooster which I thought was really nice and creative. After that, she continue to create more things such as a house and a giraffe just to name a few. Great work, Jerlene!

It has been raining these few days. This afternoon, the sky turned dark again. I quickly took out my camera to see if I could capture the lightning from my roof terrace. I dared not stepped out because there was frequent lightning and thunder. I waited patiently behind my opened door and finally managed to capture the following photo......... Isn't it scary? I hope nobody got hurt by that.

This morning, Javier was trying to look for the hamster in the cage. He suddenly said the hamster was sleeping and not moving at all. My helper went to see and realized that it was dead....... Actually we have been expecting it to happen anytime because the lifespan of a hamster is around 2 years.

It has been quite a while since we last went down to the swimming pool. And many times when we wanted to go, it started to rain. Since the weather is great today, my two angels will not miss the opportunity to get wet! Splash splash splash!

After keeping her long hair for almost a year, Jerlene finally made up her mind to cut it short. I had "double" or even "triple" confirmed with her whether she's very sure, and she was really firmed up this time. So without turning back, we headed to the hair salon and got it done. Seeing his sister getting her hair cut, Javier also decided to do the same.
I had always thought Jerlene will look prettier with long hair. However, after the hair cut, I realize that she looks equally nice in her new modern short hair.
