20 Dec 2016 - A Visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park

From Circular Quay, we took the train to Central Station.  We then walked to the nearby Mercure Hotel to collect our rented car.  Our destination for today was to drive up to Echo Point, Blue Mountain.  On the way, we decided to pay a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park.
In this park, there is a comprehensive collection of Australian species with over 1,700 mammals, birds and reptiles.  Below are some of the animals that we saw during the visit.
There's a Kitchen and Cafe on site with an abundance of great food and beverage choices for the whole family.  We actually had our lunch here.  Due to the hot weather, we left the park soon after lunch.  One disappointment for this visit was that we did not get to hand feed any kangaroo or wallaby.  Unlike other wildlife park that we had visited previously, there weren't many kangaroos and wallabies roaming around the park.

After we left the park, we drove to a nearby shopping mall to buy some food and drinks before driving up to Blue Mountain.
