2 Dec 2018 - NZ Day 2: Spectacular View of Nightingale Falls Farmstay Retreat (with beautiful double rainbow)

After unloading our luggage from the car and brought into the cottage, we started exploring this wonderful property.  And guess who's our guides?  Yes, they were Coco, Milo and Shelby, the three beautiful and adorable dogs.
Horses and cows wander freely around the property.
Coco and Milo showed us how they "tamed" the cow and ensured it "behave" properly.
Now it's Shelby's turn to lead us to a side gate.  Once we entered the gate, we were totally blown away by what we saw.
Looking up the hill, we saw a beautiful rainbow.  No.....it was a double rainbow if you looked closely!
We quickly ran to the top of the hill and wow........it's really spectacular!  This is definitely the most beautiful rainbow that we had seen in our life so far.  In fact, the photos below did not do enough justice to what we actually saw at that moment.
Thanks to our three "guides" who brought us here at the right moment!
We took as much photos while we could as this beautiful sight only lasted about 10 minutes.
Even without the rainbow, and regardless of which direction you are facing, the scenery all around this place was simply breathtaking.
If you had followed my past travel blog posts, you would have known that we had always taken our family shadow shot during our trips in recent years.  So this time round it's no exception.
With such a beautiful scenery, it's time to take some great photos with my drone.
Following few photos show the back and front views of the property.
Notice anything wrong with this tree below?
Now take a closer look.  YES!  My drone got stuck in the branches for real this time!  Sigh.....I got to borrow a ladder from the owner Scott in order to retrieve it.  Fortunately it did not get stuck too high up the tree.
What an amazing place this was.  As it's almost dinner time, we returned to our cottage and got ready for the sunset dinner!
