Our original plan for today was to visit Tiananmen before walking over to Forbidden City. However, after seeing the long queue snaking around the metro station, we decided to give Tiananmen a miss. Looking at the queue, it would probably take us 2 hours before we could even step into Tiananmen Square. While walking towards Forbidden City, we saw several buildings such as National Museum of China and Ministry of Public Security.
