We took a DiDi (滴滴) ride-hailing car from Beijing Capital Airport to Puhuangyu Subway Station (蒲黄榆地铁站), where our hotel (Yunji Select - 云季精选) is located. From the street, Yunji Select’s modern, understated façade blends well with its urban surroundings. Though we were way before the official check-in time, the hotel receptionist was kind enough to allow us to check-in to our room.
Stepping into the room felt like walking into a blend of sleek hotel comfort and high-tech convenience. The space was compact but cleverly designed, with soft lighting that automatically adjusted as we entered.
We had a room with a queen-sized bed and a single-sized bed. USB charging ports and universal outlets were conveniently placed at the bedside
A smart control device (小度) by the bed handled nearly everything such as lighting, TV, temperature, and even the curtains, all with voice commands. I tried it (see below video) and it worked perfectly.
Beside the hotel is a mall which we will explore more in the coming days.
