13 Jun 2025 - 5 Days Trip to Beijing (Itinerary included)

It's June school holiday and we decided to go on a short trip to Beijing.  As Javier is tied up with projects and other activities, only Jerlene went with us this time round.

After check-in, we still had sometimes till our flight boarding at 0110 hrs.  As such, we visited the butterfly garden and movie theatre before proceeding to the boarding gate.

Welcome onboard and soon after, we were on our way to Beijing.

We chose to have our meals after takeoff as we were a bit hungry at that late hour.

Nice views of the sea of cloud below us during the flight.

The flight time was about 6 hours, and we touched down at Beijing Capital International Airport at 7am local time.

Below is the itinerary of this trip.

Day 1: Check-in to Yunji Select Hotel, Peking Roasted Duck Lunch at Quanjude, Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, Xiyue Shopping Center

Day 2: Puhuangyu District, Summer Palace, Beijing Olympic Park

Day 3: Journey to the Great Wall, Sculling Boat Ride, Cable Car Ride and Hike to Great Wall, Simatai Great Wall, Gubei Watertown, Journey back to City

Day 4: Forbidden City, Nanluoguxiang, Temple of Heaven, Dinner at Wumart Mall

Day 5: Local Breakfast, Last meal in Beijing, Flight Home
