30 Apr 2025 - NGO Day 5: Nagoya Port Building Observatory

Established in 1907, the Port of Nagoya sits on Ise Bay and is the largest international trade port in Japan, handling over 160 million tons of cargo annually, with a leading role in automobile exports, including Toyota vehicles.  Nagoya Port Building Observatory is a 63-meter tall iconic structure, designed to resemble a pristine sailing ship, is a signature landmark at Garden Pier
The observation deck on the 7th floor (~53 m high) delivers sweeping 360° views of Ise Bay, the port operations, and inland cityscape stretching to Nagoya Station, Midland Square, and Lucent Tower.
We bought the combo tickets that include Nagoya Port Building Observation Lounge, Nagoya Maritime Museum, and Fuji Antarctic Museum from a vending machine.  The one that includes the Aquarium was not available for sale at that time.
