19 Dec 2015 - Tasmania Day 6: Salamanca Market

Every Saturday from about 8am until 3pm, Salamanca Place comes alive with the famous Salamanca Market operated by the Hobart City Council. Over 300 stallholders sell fresh and gourmet produce, arts, crafts and handiwork from all over Tasmania, interstate and overseas. Salamanca Market has always been voted as one of the top attractions in Tasmania.  As such, we intentionally planned our stay in Hobart over a weekend.

We reached Salamanca Place at about 9:45am.  We were fortunate to be able to find a parking lot near to the market.
Other than food, fruits and handicrafts, there are also street singers and bands performing.
Remember in one of my earlier posts, I mentioned that Javier had fallen in love with sausages?  When we came across the following food stall, he went crazy........
He got his Pork sausage and it was yummy!
Jerlene on the other hand decided to try the maple crepe.  She loved it as well.
Mommy and I were attracted by the mobile stall below which sells "superlicious" salmon sausage.
We found a place to sit down and enjoy our food, not forgetting to take a wefie.
We spent about an hour in the market because our parking lot only allowed an hour of parking, which we had fully utilized.
