8 Mar 2014 - Time to think about building a shelter in our roof terrace

Recently there is a revised guidelines for covering of private outdoor spaces (such as private enclosed spaces and private roof terraces) within non-landed strata-titled residential developments. Outdoor space such as our private roof terrace will now be exempted from computation as GFA.

We started looking around to see how we can build up our roof terrace.  Today we were at Ikea and saw the below outdoor structure which looks simple but cosy.  We will continue to do more research in this area and hopefully by Christmas, we can have "something" built up and be ready for our Christmas BBQ gathering regardless if it rains again!!!  (Yes.....it had been raining for the past few years during Christmas's Eve evening).
