Due to the covid-19 situation that had impacted many people and businesses, our government has set aside a budget for all citizens to spend at various attractions and hotels in the country. It's called the "Singapore Rediscover Vouchers" (SRV) and we were able to redeem up to $100 per adult. So for us, we had redeemed it for game vouchers to Headrock VR at Resort World Sentosa. This is Singapore’s first-ever VR theme park which consists of three thematic zones. After we collected our game vouchers (5 games per person), we were each given a mask to wear for hygiene purpose. Jerlene and Javier refused to wear it to take photo....sigh......no more cute cute from them liao......
The first station where they went to is none other than Beat Saber! Javier had played it once in Korea and since then he had been asking to try it again. So we granted his wish today, after almost 2 years. :-P
We also tried out other games such as Zombie Busters.......
......Jungle Rafting......and more.
I gave all the remaining game vouchers to Jerlene and Javier and they used it all at Beat Saber AGAIN! Javier is quite good at it and he had been trying out all the insane difficulty.
We spent slightly less than 2 hours at the theme park but it's longer than we had initially anticipated.
The entire Resort World Sentosa was pretty quiet nowadays. I really hope that the whole world can get over this pandemic soon.
