27 Feb 2022 - Driving through flooded road

It was pouring heavily in recent days and today seems the worst.  While we were driving home from our lunch place, we passed by a road where the water level went above the center of our car's wheel.  We had to drive very slowly through that stretch of road.  It's the first time Jerlene and Javier had experienced such a "ride".  

27 Feb 2022 - Covid Positive in our household

Tracy was tested positive this morning after having flu symptom.  Immediately, the rest of us (Jerlene, Javier and myself) proceeded to do our own ART test and fortunately, we were all tested negative.

Tracy then started her isolation in the bedroom.  For the coming week, we will all be wearing masks at home when walking around.  As Jerlene and Javier are worried that they may get infected, they have decided to wear masks even while sleeping.  :-)

14 Feb 2022 - Valentine Day's Lunch

Both Tracy and myself were pretty busy at work recently but today we managed to take a short break for our Valentine's Day lunch @ Wimbly Lu.  We have come here quite a few times in the past and we both love the dishes.

12 Feb 2022 - Mom's Birthday

Today is my mom's birthday and we had a small celebration at my sis's place.  Due to the current covid restriction, I alone was there representing my family.  Hopefully all these restrictions can slowly be relaxed as we moved into the endemic phase.

9 Feb 2022 - House Warming after much delay

We had a long overdue house warming session at our colleague's place.  Finally we got to meet up and had lunch together after almost 2 years.

6 Feb 2022 - Bird's Eye View of TJC

This afternoon I went 拜年 at my cousin's place which is opposite of Javier's current school, TJC.  From the living room, I was able to have a good view of the entire school compound.
