9 July 2025 - Nephew's ROM

We attended my nephew's Solemnization today at The Secret Patio @ Duxton. Time really flies and all the younger generation are now entering into their next phase in life.  I still remember when he was around 5 years old, I brought him to the zoo and he had so much fun playing in the pool (in his underwear because it was not planned and we did not bring his swimming attire).  I also remember how he got influenced by me into Diablo gaming during his early school days. Relieved that it did not affect him in a negative way as he's now pretty successful in both his career and personal life.

After the ceremony, we had our lunch at Yellow Pot, a Chinese restaurant situated in the heritage hotel Duxton Reserve (formerly Six Senses Duxton).

The interior is dramatic, stylish, moody yet elegant with colours dominated by a palette of black, gold, and yellow.

I had Lamb Shank in Spicy Plum Sauce for my main dish. Tasted real good!

9 July 2025 - Dark Clouds Brewing

As the title says, dark clouds were brewing over my place, in contrast to the bright and sunny sky further in the horizon.

1 July 2025 - First Day at New Office (ONE@ChangiCity)

After spending nearly 30 years of my working life at the old TechSQ office (previously known as CCB), today was my first working day in our new office at ONE@Changi City.

As what I heard from those who moved in earlier, this new office is indeed more modern and having a nicer layout. Everything looks so new.

As my office is located on the ninth floor, I had a nice view out of the full-length windows.

And I could watch planes landing and taking off throughout the day.

From another angle, I actually have a sea view as well.  :-)
