31 Aug 2018 - Penang Day 1: Durian Museum, Penang State Gallery and more at Avenue of Adventures

There were many other attractions included in our passes at the TOP Penang.  One of them is the 7D Discovery Motion Theater.  The 7D Dome brings us the latest technology in virtual reality and simulators to create new dimensions and perspectives.  It's like being part of the movie, in our case, it was like taking a roller coaster ride in a jungle.
Jelly Bump is another attraction where Jerlene and Javier spent most of the time at.  It's actually bumper cars and because there wasn't a lot of kids, they just went round after round.
For durian lovers, "Durian the King of Fruits" Museum is not to be missed.  When we reached the museum entrance, Javier immediately exclaimed:"NO WAY!".  In the end, he had no choice but to follow us in.
The museum showcases everything you need to know about the fruit – from its history to its growing process.  There is also a gallery that presents all types of durians.
As we we through the exhibits in the museum, there was a section where we could take photos with these gigantic fruits!
Wow.....didn't know Jerlene is such a good tree climber!
More great photos opportunities below.
From the Durian Museum, we went over to the nearby Penang State Gallery, which is a one-stop centre for visitors to learn everything about “Penang” and its heritage.
Before leaving Komtar after a fun-filled day, we took photos with quite a number of Hollywood celebrities.  Can you recognise them?
If you have missed the video in my earlier posts, watch it below.
