18 Aug 2018 - Junior Black Belt (Provisional Pass)

Do you notice anything different with Javier's Taekwando attire?  Yes.....he had a provisional pass for his last Taekwando grading and he's now wearing a Junior Black Belt (Poom Belt).

For Poom Belt grading, candidates need to do well in all 3 areas (patterns, sparring and interview) in order to achieve 1st poom certification.  Javier did well for his patterns and interview but still has room for improvement for his sparring.  As such, in a few months time, he will be required to go for a confirmation test where he will be tested solely on his sparring.

Javier has signed up for additional sparring lessons as he aims to pass the confirmation test and obtain his 1st Poom Certification.  All the best, Javier!  Practise hard and you will achieve your goal!
