We decided to go Changi City Point to buy a pair of covered shoes for Javier as his current one is too small. After that we went to a Japanese restaurant, Ootoya (大户屋) for lunch. The food was great. Then we went outdoor where there were mini animal rides. Jerlene and Javier chose the dinosaur and had so much fun "riding" around. It only costs $2 for a four minutes ride.
At the central foyer of the mall, there was a stage where the Singapore Hokkien Huay Guan Cultural Academy was having a roadshow. Jerlene and Javier, together with many other kids, were enjoying themselves with the ribbons and balloons. The Huay Guan members were demonstrating the different dance props and asked for young volunteers every now and then. Jerlene had a little fear to volunteer herself initially but she did it eventually. I must say that she threw and caught the handkerchief pretty well, considering she's a first timer. See it for yourself. :-)
