This was our last night at Copenhagen, and also the last night of our trip. Like all our previous trips, we usually go shopping on our last day to get souvenirs and spend our surplus foreign currency. We did the same this time and made our way to the famous Stroget Shopping Street.
Strøget is Copenhagen's aorta and one of Europe's longest pedestrian streets with a wealth of shops, from budget-friendly chains to some of the world's most expensive brands.
The 1,1-kilometre stretch covers the streets Frederiksberggade, Nygade, Vimmelskaftet and Østergade and runs from City Hall Square to Kongens Nytorv square. As we walked along the streets, the kids got hungry and we ordered crepes for them to munch along the way.
As we walked along Strøget Street, we could see several of Copenhagen's beautiful sights and attractions as well as street entertainers.
We bought some souvenirs and headed back to our hotel as it started to drizzle.
