5 Jun 2017 - Iceland Day 11: Grótta Island Lighthouse

At the north-westernmost point in Reykjavik stands the Grótta Island Lighthouse.  There is a path that leads to the islet where the lighthouse resides but from May 1 to July 15, the path is closed due to bird protection.

We then spent sometimes on the beach where Jerlene and Javier had fun playing stone skipping.

This is also a great place for bird lovers.
