1 Sep 2018 - Penang Day 2: Exploring Gurney Area

From Made in Penang Interactive Museum, we took a Grab car to Gurney Plaza.  As it's a Saturday night, this place was extremely crowded.  Gurney Drive, otherwise known as Persiaran Gurney, is perhaps one of the most well-known places in Penang.
Gurney Drive is a deluge of hawker delights and exciting restaurants that come alive at nighttime, giving the unique experience of dining by the sea.
As it's too crowded at the hawker centre, we decided to return to Gurney Plaza for our dinner.
We had our dinner at a Hakka restaurant (Hakka Tree - 客福家).  The food was good and price was quite reasonable.
After dinner, Jerlene and Javier had crepes for dessert while daddy and mommy had Herbal Jelly (龟苓膏).
As for the mall, there is nothing special.  It's just like any other malls in Singapore.
At around 9+pm, we decided to return to our hotel.  As the entire road outside of the plaza was jammed up, it took a while before our Grab car arrived and drove out this crowded area.
