2 Sep 2018 - Penang Day 3: ESCAPE Adventureplay

We had planned for a day of fun at ESCAPE Theme Park today.  After breakfast, we took a 45 minutes Grab ride to ESCAPE.

ESCAPE Theme Park is a 2-in-1 adventure course and water park.  The ticket counter is at the water park.  After we purchased the tickets, we entered the park and kept our belongings in the locker.  We decided to go to the adventure park first and for that, we need to rent the shoes from the gift shop as we did not brought ours along.  The AdventurePlay and WaterPlay parks are separated by a main road.

The moment we entered the AdventurePlay park, we immediately saw the obstacle course all over the canopy of the trees around.

There are many activities around the park.  Jerlene and Javier did not dare to try out the obstacles course though.  One unique thing about this park is that every now and then, the staff will organize mini competition for visitors to participate.  Before the competition, the staff will go round the park and ask people to sign up.  Jerlene and Javier participated in the Zoom Bug Race.

The "bravest" thing Jerlene tried was to climb up a tree.  :-)

Of course, Jerlene and Javier will never miss the opportunity to jump on the trampoline.

We wanted to try out the Tubby Racer but before we managed to pull the tube up to the top, it started to drizzle and we were told that the ride is closed.

Since it started to rain, we decided to have our lunch at the shelter.
