14 Sep 2025 - Gardens By The Bay Skyway and Light Shows

After dinner, our visit to Gardens by the Bay continued at the Supertrees Grove.

Perched among Supertrees in the heart of Gardens by the Bay is the OCBC Skyway. This aerial walkway gives visitors a new vantage point to take in the green heart and glittering skyline of the Lion City.

The OCBC Skyway is a 128‑metre long aerial walkway suspended between two of the Supertrees, standing 22 metres above ground.

We took the lift up to the Skyway and had some breathtaking views of the surrounding.

From the Skyway, we could see the lush canopy of the Supertrees up close, but also wide views of Marina Bay, the surrounding gardens, and Singapore’s skyline.

At that time, we could see hundreds of people either sitting or lying down on the ground, all waiting patiently for the daily light show (Garden Rhapsody) to start.

Garden Rhapsody is a signature evening spectacle at the Supertree Grove, where the towering Supertrees are illuminated in choreographed lighting sequences, synchronized to music and soundscapes.

Garden Rhapsody light and sound show was immediately followed by the Aurora Borealis show. It’s meant to evoke the spectacle of the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) through the use of layered light, cloud or mist particles, and atmospheric soundtrack.
