Today marked the first time the air quality reached unhealthy levels in nearly three years. This was due to the transboundary smoke from forest and land fires in neighboring Indonesia (including Sumatra and Kalimantan) drifted toward Singapore.
There is no sign of the haze getting cleared anytime soon. We will all need to brace for hazy conditions to persist in the near future, with the possibility of air quality reaching hazardous level. So do take care!
