We attended CSIT Scholarship Award Ceremony at Flower Field Hall, Gardens by the Bay this afternoon as Javier was one of the award recipients for CSIT Computing Scholarship. We visited the Flower Dome (complimentary) before attending ceremony.
The current highlight was Gardens by the Bay's first-ever Ancient Egypt-themed floral display, celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Egypt. There were over 7,000 lilies across 46 species and varieties, featuring the Egyptian Blue Lotus, debut cultivars, plus giant South American waterlilies grown from seed.
CSIT Computing Scholarship (Junior College) is a two-year, bond-free program that nurtures young tech talent early in their academic path. This was Javier's 3rd scholarships that he received this year after DSTA JC and MOE ETPS.
There were exhibition booths at the ceremony hall showcasing some interesting projects and technologies.Of course, there was refreshment after the ceremony.
Congrats and Well Done, Javier!
