20 Dec 2014 - Taiwan Trip Day 7: Taiwan University Royal Palm Drive (台大椰林大道)

After about an hour drive from Ching Tung (箐桐), we finally reached Taipei City.  As we passed by the University of Taiwan, 潘先生 asked if we wanted to pay a quick visit to the university.  We said ok and he drove us into the university compound through the famous Royal Palm Drive (椰林大道).  I heard of the song 《椰林大道》more than 20 years back but I did not know it's within Taiwan University till today.  The road was not as bad as the lyrics say where there were lots of holes.  Probably that's the situation 20 years ago.

It's pretty late by now and it's time for us to check in to our hotel in Ximending (西门町).
