The full moon tonight was beautiful. It was dubbed the "Super Pink Moon", the biggest "supermoon" of the year. This full moon appeared larger and brighter than usual because the moon was at perigee, or the closest point to Earth in its elliptical orbit. This closer proximity of the supermoon makes it appear about 7% larger and 15% brighter than the average full moon. It seems to me that the sky appears much clearer recently, probably due to lesser cars on the road and factories stopping works. At least this is something positive amidst all the negative news around during this difficult time.
While admiring the beautiful full moon, I sincerely hope that everything can get back to the norm soon. Will need everyone to do their part and together we can get through this. C'mon, #SGUnited!
