29 May 2017 - Iceland Day 4: Urriðafoss

With the recommendation of our hostess Kristin, we drove to the Urriðafoss this morning to start the day.  We drove down a narrow gravel road to reach the parking area at the waterfall.
Urriðafoss is the most voluminous waterfall in Iceland and is the largest and most spectacular of all the waterfalls of river Þjórsá.
It's not one of those popular waterfalls where tourists normally go to but for me, I think this is in fact one of the better one.
As it was raining and the ground was wet, Jerlene and Javier were very fascinated by all the earthworms crawling around.
As the rain started to get heavier, we quickly returned to our car and moved on to our next destination.
