After we parked our car, we walked down a gentle slope to the coastline,
When we reached the end of the slope, we could see Cathedral Rocks at a distance.
One mistake we made was that we approached Cathedral Rocks from the south, which is very rocky and no easy access to the Cathedral. The easiest and safest option is to park slightly further up north at the Jones Beach car park. So for those interested to visit the Cathedral Rocks, this is a very important tip.
Nevertheless, the view from where we were was not too bad as well. :-)
We spent about half an hour here before returning to our car.
A cargo train was passing by while we walked back to our car. Jerlene and Javier were amazed to see such a long stretch of train cabin which seemed endless.
