At about 9pm, we finally reached the old quarter district in Hanoi. Instead of going back to our hotel, we decided to walk towards Hoan Kiem Lake looking for a place to have our dinner. As today is still weekend, the entire place was crowded with people. Stalls selling souvenirs were setup at the night market.
We had a great night view of the "lighted-up" Turtle Tower at the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake.
We strolled down the lake side and reached Trang Tien Plaza, which was nicely lighted up.
We had our dinner at a Pho (pronounced as fir) restaurant nearby. After two days at Hanoi, we finally had a taste of Pho, a traditionally vietnamese noodle.
As we walked back towards our hotel, we passed by a mango dessert shop and decided to have some dessert to end our long day. :-)
