25 Nov 2022 - Day 12: (Ballarat) Ballarat Wildlife Park

For us, a trip to Australia will not be complete without visiting a wildlife park.  As such, we decided to visit Ballarat Wildlife Park on our last day of the trip.  The Ballarat Wildlife Park is a privately owned business run by The Parker family and their team.
After entering the park, we first visited the reptile section where we saw the Giant Tortoise, all sorts of snakes, lizards, crocodiles, and different species of frogs.
The Park offers visitors a nice comfortable walk around their facilities, with the chance to get up close and personal to some of Australia’s most famous native animals such as Wombat, Emus, Tasmanian Devil and Alpacas.
We bought two packets of feeds which we can hand-feed the Emus and Kangaroos that roam freely in the park.  The kangaroos in this park are so used to getting fed by visitors that they had become extremely "lazy".
We then proceeded to the Meerkat enclosure where there was a presentation at noon.
It was then followed by the Penguins presentation.
The next presentation is at the Dingo enclosure.
Koalas are the highlights of any wildlife park in Australia.  There are about 35 of them in the park.
We spent about 3+ hours exploring the park.
Following video shows highlights of some of the beautiful animals in the park.
