24 Nov 2022 - Day 11: (Sovereign Hill) Red Hill Mine Tour

Earlier in the morning we went on the guided Gold Mine Tour which is not included in the day pass.  In the afternoon, we went on the free self-guided Red Hill Mine Tour.

We started the tour by walking down a flight of stairs to a tunnel.

After we ventured underground into our deep lead mine, there was a virtual presentation whereby we witnessed the discovery of the 'Welcome Nugget' found in 1858.

It's a short self-guided tour which took about 15 mins to complete.
