We left Sovereign Hill at 5pm when it's about to close. As it's still early to have our dinner, we drove to a nearby Black Hill Reserve.
The Black Hill Reserve includes the Black Hill lookout, offering sweeping views of Ballarat and the surrounding district to the south.
The reserve has also become a focal point of downhill mountain bike riding in Ballarat.
