11 Oct 2025 - KUL Day 2: Suria KLCC

From Sentral KL station, we took the LRT to Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). Nestled at the foot of the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC is more than just a shopping mall. It is an integrated complex that includes offices, a convention center, luxury hotels, and the beautiful KLCC Park.
The mall itself occupies six floors, filled with over 300 retail outlets, making it one of Malaysia’s premier shopping and lifestyle destinations.
As it was way past lunch, we started looking for a restaurant and decided on Dolly Dim Sum. Great lunch!
Directly accessible from the mall, KLCC Park is a beautifully landscaped park with walking paths, a playground and the famous Lake Symphony Fountain.
We were contemplating whether to visit KL Tower for the evening.  However, when we saw the price, we decided to give it miss. There is a huge difference in price between Malaysian citizens and non-Malaysian citizens.  And we are not talking about 20% or 30% more.  It's actually more than 3 times for certain package.
Instead, we decided to visit Mid Valley Megamall, a place where locals and travelers alike gather to shop, dine, relax, and be entertained under one massive roof. When we reached the mall, it started to rain heavily.
