3 Oct 2025 - Distinction Award for Science Mentorship Programme (SMP)

Congratulations to Javier and his teammates on earning Distinction Award for their project "Designing a Mechanical Robotic Gripper for Food Handling" at this year's Science Mentorship Programme. 

In this project, they created a lightweight, low-cost robotic gripper using springs, strings & 3D-printed parts that can grasp irregular objects effectively, supported by mathematical modelling to predict mechanical responses.
