We visited Gardens by the Bay this afternoon. Our last visit here was in 2020 right before Covid lockdown. This time, Jerlene and Javier did not come along as they did not like the heat outdoor. We parked our car at Satay by the Bay and took a stroll through the Kingfisher Wetlands. First, we arrived at the Natural Rock Pool & Main Cascades. This newly-created water cascades and streamlets create microhabitats for biodiversity to flourish.
Then we came to a Lotus Pond, where we saw a Wildlife Lookout Deck across the other side of the pond. The size of Kingfisher Wetlands is about 15,000 sqm, which is slightly bigger than the size of two football pitches.
After walking through the Kingfisher Wetlands, we arrived at the key landmark of Gardens by the Bay, the Supertrees! In the coming posts, I'll be writing about the various attractions within Gardens by the Bay.
- Cloud Forest
- Garden Rhapsody Light Show
- Borealis Northern Lights Show
