19 Nov 2018 - Let our adventure begins!

Year end school holiday has started and so is our long awaited adventure!  We will be embarking on a 20 days Fly-Cruise-Drive trip from Sydney to Auckland.  Here we were at Changi Airport Terminal 3.  Every year around the Christmas season, the airport will setup some wonderful decoration and this year's theme is "A Wizarding World" based on the movie series "Harry Potter".  Jerlene and Javier will not miss the opportunity to take photos in the World of Wizardry.

We boarded our flight at around 12:30am and were all ready for our upcoming adventure.

We had a nice meal before going to bed.

Before the flight, Jerlene and Javier insisted that they are not going to sleep and had plan to watch a few movies.  However, they never succeeded.  Have a good rest, my sleeping beauty!

Our flight touched down at Sydney Kingsford Smith Terminal 1 at around 11:50am.

At Sydney airport, we topped up the value in our Opal Cards that we had purchased from here 2 years ago.  We were surprised that the cards can still be used after 2 years.  We then took a train from the airport to Circular Quay, where our first night of accommodation is.
