Old belief has it that walking along Jiuqu Bridge can prevent troubles and bad luck in the new year. As such, it's always crowded on the bridge, especially during peak summer season. As we walked across the bridge, there were regular announcement reminding people to be careful and vigilant due to the huge number of people on the bridge.
We had some snacks after crossing the bridge.
There are so many food outlets here selling local delights. Yummy!
Jerlene and Javier loved the huge soup dumpling (灌湯餃) which they sucked dry the soup using straws.
There was an interesting stall that provides customers with old shanghai style entertainment.
We stayed there till the sky turned dark in order to see the beautiful lights up.It's definitely worth the wait. :-)
