18 Dec 2017 - Shanghai Day 4: West Lake's evening sky (西湖夕阳)

From Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (西湖三潭印月) Island, we took a return boat ride to the north bank of West Lake along Gushan Road (孤山路).

Zhongshan Park (中山公园) is just across the road from the dock.  We decided to go into the park to take a look and at the same time, had a toilet break.

As the sky was getting dark, we did not explore further into the park.

West Lake was selected as one of the "12 superb sunset spots around the world" by CNN.  As such, I decided to find a good photo spot to capture the evening sky of West Lake.

I read that one of the best spot to photograph sunset views of West Lake is Broken Bridge (断桥), which is actually quite a distance away.  Nevertheless, we headed towards the direction of Broken Bridge and took the following evening sky shots along the way.
