It also has the largest Uniqlo store in Korea.
Jerlene and Javier missed the potato twists which they had eaten few years ago, also at Myeongdong. As for mommy, she went for the cheesy grilled lobster!
The above were just our appetizers. We walked around the streets and decided to have ginseng chicken for our dinner. We did not have the chance to try it the last time here so before this trip, we had made it a mandatory item in our checklist.
We ordered two hotpot of ginseng chicken soup, and one with extra ginseng. This was our first time trying it and we were surprised to find glutinous rice within the chicken. It was really unique and yummy!
We also ordered a Korean pancake which tasted good together with the glutinous rice. There was a small cup of green liquid that looked like green tea on the table. I decided to try it but after one sip, I I regretted. It was actually ginseng wine! With just that one sip, I actually had headache for the rest of the night. :-(After dinner, we continued to walk down the street to hunt for more street food. This time, it was grilled squid.
At about 9:15pm, we slowly strolled back to our hotel.
Below is the night view of Sungnyemun Gate.
