There were many stalls selling street food at Namdaemun Market but we wanted to have a proper lunch at a proper restaurant or cafe.
We went into one traditional Korean restaurant and below were what we ordered. One point to note about ordering food in Korea is that if you do not want spicy food, you must highlight it up front. By default, most food will be served with chili and pepper. The pictures on the menu can be deceiving.
The following noodle and tteokbokki (rice cake) had been voted by us as the most spicy food for this trip!
After lunch, we took the subway to Jongno3(sam)-ga Station to visit a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
