4 Jun 2019 - Busan Day 4: Busan SeaLife Aquarium

One reason why we visited Haeundae Beach was that we had plan to visit Busan SeaLife Aquarium, which is located just next to the beach.
The Busan Aquarium contains over 250 different species of fish, algae, reptiles, and amphibians for total of over 10,000. This state-of-the-art facility is one of Korea’s top aquariums. The aquarium covers an area of 36,000 m2 and is spread over 3 underground levels with different sections divided into special themes.
Before we visited all the exhibits, we first went to the Tropical Ocean section to catch the Deep Sea-nema World Show.
After the show, we proceeded to the Pirarucu (Arapaima) feeding demonstration.  Arapaimas are among the world's largest freshwater fish, reaching as much as 3 metres.
All around the aquarium, there are many interesting photo spots.
Next, it was the Mermaid Princess Story Show at the Coral water tank.
This mermaid show was so much better than the one that we saw previously at River Safari.
Opposite of the Coral water tank is the Rock Pool.
Jerlene and Javier were busy touching the various creatures in the pool.
Tracy also joined in the fun.  Guess what she was holding?  It's actually shark egg!
Next it was otter feeding demonstration.  They were so cute but there is one which lost a leg.
After watching all the shows and feeding, we started going round all the exhibits.  Shall not describe each and every of these exhibits.  Pictures are better than words.
More interesting photo stops.
Jelly-fish is always nice to watch in aquarium with the colour changing lighting in the background.
And the following is a really huge octopus.
More adorable creatures followed...
The tunnel experience resembles a walk along the ocean floor with various sea creatures swimming above, serving as a popular attraction within the aquarium sure to amaze visitors.
Jerlene trying to interact with the virtual penguin.
One last photo taken before we left the aquarium.
