5 Jun 2019 - Seoul Day 5: KTX Train to Seoul

We checked out of our hotel in Busan this morning.  One reason why we stayed at this hotel was that the Busan Train Station is just round the corner.  For travelers who are going to take the train to visit other cities in Korea, this will be a very convenient location.
The KTX train in Korea is the fastest train to travel between Seoul and Busan, taking around 2hrs50mins and running once or twice an hour.
Ready to get on board the train.
As we had bought our tickets few days in advance, we managed to sit together, unlike the other family who got split up into two different cabins.
We were allowed to bring food and drinks that we bought at the train station.  And there are charging stations for our devices on board.
We reached Seoul Station at about 1:50pm.
The station is the primary terminus for the KTX and express services to Busan
The Old Seoul station originally named Keijo (Gyeongseong) station and designed by Tsukamoto Yasushi of Tokyo Imperial University, was finished on November 1925. This red brick building, designed in an eclectic style, features a Byzantine-style central dome and a centralized and symmetrical layout.  On September 25, 1981, the old station was designated as Historic Site 284
According to the map, our hotel in Seoul should be within walking distance from the Seoul Station.  As such, we started our navigation through the busy streets.
