3 Dec 2018 - NZ Day 3: Jack & Di's Lakefront Resort Motel
After our Hobbiton tour, we drove to Rotorua (one hour journey) and checked in to Jack & Di's Lakefront Resort Motel.
We booked a one-bedroom apartment with garden view. We could actually walk out to Lake Rotorua and do some kayaking. However, the wet and windy weather did not allow us to do it.
The apartment is air-conditioned and has a heat pump. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, lounge area with a sofa and TV. Tea and coffee is provided.
After unloading our luggage from the car and brought into the room, we drove out to Oppies Fish 'N' Chips to have our dinner.
It was once rated as the best chip shop in New Zealand.
