7 Dec 2018 - NZ Day 7: Waitomo Glowworm Caves
Waitomo Glowworm Caves occupy a high placing in the New Zealand vacation wish-list. The highlight of this cave tour is the boat ride along the underground Waitomo river. As photography is not allowed throughout the cave tour, I did not have any photo taken of the cave's interior. As our boat glided silently through the cave, thousands of glowworms radiated their unmistakable luminescent light all around us. We all gazed in silence at the myriad of glow-worm lights that make up the Glowworm Grotto.
Waitomo Glowworm Caves is definitely a must-see for any traveler. :-)
