After checking out of our hotel this morning, we took the metro to Hong Qiao Railway Station (虹桥火车站) where we took a high speed train to RuiAn (瑞安) to meet up with my family and our local cousins.
We bought our train tickets via trip.com website before the trip. Check in can be done by scanning our passports and it was a breeze.
Our train journey to RuiAn was about 3.5 hours. Below were some photos that I took from the train along the way.
After we alighted the train and exited the RuiAn Station, we were immediately approached by many local drivers asking where we wanted to go. We did some research online and roughly know the price to get to our destination. With that knowledge, we agreed to take the car ride from a lady driver. We waited a while for her to get another passenger before we drove off.
