We took the metro from Yuyuan Station to Nanjing Road East, which is just one station away. The moment we stepped out of the station, we saw people everywhere, especially along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (南京路步行街).
We then entered a building where most visitors were youngsters. This is the place where Jerlene will enjoy. There is an Animate store, which we visited two of them during our last December trip to Osaka.
We continued to walk down the street but after a while, our legs were really aching due to all the walking over the past 3 days. As such, we sat down and took a break, while watching the human flow all around.
Before leaving, we were attracted by the colourful butterfly biscuits (蝴蝶酥) in one of the shops. We bought some and they were really good. Regretted that we did not buy more.
As we did not think we could get a seat in most restaurants around Nanjing Road, we decided to return to our hotel but before that, we "dabao" 水饺汤 from a chinese restaurant opposite our hotel.
