27 Apr 2025 - NGO Day 2: Taking Train to Inuyama (犬山)

Our plan today was to visit Inuyama (犬山), meaning "Dog Mountain.  We bought the special tickets (1,380 JPY) from Meitetsu Nagoya Station that include reduced round-trip train tickets from Meitetsu Nagoya Station to Inuyama station, reduced entry for Inuyama Castle and Meitetsu coupons.  As different subway lines are sharing the same platform, we had to pay attention to which is the correct train to take, based on the color code.

Here it came, our train to Inuyama (犬山).

The train ride duration was about 40mins.  As the train departed from Nagoya and headed north, we were treated to views of suburban landscapes, rice fields, and glimpses of the Kiso River. 

Upon arrival in Inuyama, a short walk leads to Inuyama Castle Town.
