From Khao Yai National Park Visitor Center, we arrived at Sai Sorn Reservoir after a short 5 mins drive. Sai Sorn Reservoir, originally named the Mosingto Reservoir, is a tranquil and picturesque reservoir located within Khao Yai National Park. It was renamed in honour of Boonrueng Saisorn, the first chief of Khao Yai National Park, who initiated its construction to provide potable water in Khao Yai National Park, and to be a source of water for wildlife.
The reservoir is surrounded by lush greenery, towering trees, and diverse wildlife. The sparkling waters reflect the surrounding mountains, creating a beautiful setting.
This place is a great spot for leisurely strolls along the water's edge or simply relaxing on the grassy banks. There are also ample opportunities for photography.
