From Toscana Piazza, our next stop of the day is Baan Suan Noi Resort, often referred to as the "Hobbit House". We followed Google Map's direction and ended up in a middle of a village. So we continued to drive around the area and eventually managed to locate the resort entrance.
The resort's design aims to transport visitors to a world of fairy tales and adventure. It incorporates elements from many popular stories, creating a diverse and immersive experience. One key attraction here is a castle guarded by a huge dragon. Visitors are allowed to roam freely in the castle.
The moment we entered the castle, we heard some familiar music from the Harry Potter movies. True enough, this section of the castle is decorated based on the theme from Harry Potter series.
The resort includes other themed areas that lend themselves to great photos.
This castle is pretty huge and it's still expanding.
After we explored every corner of the castle, we began visiting the surrounding area.
There is also a mini-Sunflower Field, but of course, nothing compared to Rai Manee Sorn Sunflower Field that we visited this morning.Next we arrived at the main highlight of the resort, that features charming hobbit-style cottages with round doors and rustic decor, reminiscent of the Shire. Visitors can immerse themselves in a fantasy-like setting, with the architecture and ambiance reflecting the charm of the hobbit world.
The attention to detail is remarkable, from the round doors and windows to the earthy tones and rustic furnishings. Each hobbit house is built into the hillside, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape and creating a sense of harmony with nature.
The resort offers a variety of hobbit-themed rooms, each designed to provide a comfortable and immersive experience. Guests can choose from different room types, including single-bedroom and multi-bedroom options, all featuring the signature round doors and earthy aesthetics characteristic of hobbit dwellings.
Each hobbit house is uniquely decorated, featuring handcrafted furniture, warm lighting, and comfortable bedding.
Whether you are a fan of Tolkien's works, a nature lover, or simply seeking a unique getaway, the Hobbit House Khao Yai promises an unforgettable adventure.
As we were about to exit, one of the staff asked if we had visited Santorini, which we hadn't. We then followed his direction and arrived at the replica of the famous Santorini, a Greek island in the southern Aegean Sea.There are rooms designed with Santorini-inspired decor where visitors can stay during their visit in Khao Yai.
