We read online that Palio Khao Yai is one of the most famous Italian style towns in Thailand. As it was nearby our hotel, we decided to drive there to take some nice photos. When we reached Palio, we realized something was not right as the entire place looked very run down. We then did a bit more research and confirmed that this place is now permanently closed.
Since we were already there, we decided to get down our car and take a quick look around. There were many wild dogs lying all over the place, so we took extra caution not to disturb them. We actually had a shock when few of them suddenly started barking at us. It's probably because we accidentally entered their territory.
