25 Dec 2024 - BKK Day 3 (Khao Yai): Farm Chokchai

After an adventurous but tiring hike in Khao Yai National Park earlier in the day, we decided to take a short break back at our hotel before heading to Farm Chokchai, which is much more than just a farm.  It's a multifaceted agro-tourism destination that offers a unique blend of education, entertainment, and culinary experiences.
We missed the last guided farm tour so decided to self-explore this huge farm.  This is the only farm that we had visited so far that allows visitors to drive around the farm.
First, we visited the animal feeding areas where visitors can feed animals like sheeps and deers.
Next, we walked over to the seasonal flower fields.  It was beautiful and amazing to be standing in the middle of all the colourful flowers.
From the flower field, we drove to the cowboy town.
Farm Chokchai produces and sells it's own brand of dairy products under the name "Umm!.. Milk". These products are sold on site, and in other locations.
We then walked to the milking parlors where cows are milked, often with demonstrations for visitors.
There is also a dairy processing plant where milk is processed into various dairy products and cattle pastures and enclosures where the cows are kept and cared for.
One popular area for the tourists, especially young kids, is the petting zoo where visitors can interact with various farm animals.
Essentially, Farm Chokchai blends working agricultural operations with tourism and entertainment, creating a diverse and engaging experience.
We had some ice cream before leaving Farm Chokchai.
