As we were walking towards the metro station, we passed by the following shop selling cheese tarts. When it comes to cheese, Javier cannot resist the temptation. The shop name is called Pablo. Though there was a long queue, it did not stop Javier and mommy to join the line.
Our next destination was Osaka Castle. We took the metro and alighted at Tanimachiyonchome station. After exiting from the station, we arrived at the Ruins of Naniwa Palace. Excavations beginning in 1954 revealed the location of two royal palaces here at the northern end of the Uemachi Plateau. Until then, the location of these palaces was unknown, though their existence was recorded in ancient historical texts.
The site of the Hoenzaka Warehouses, large, elevated-floor warehouses built around the latter half of the 5th century, were discovered here on the northern edge of the Uemachi Plateau.Next to the historical site is Osaka Museum of History. We did not visit this museum but had our lunch at a restaurant in the building.
Following were our lunch. The food was quite good and price was pretty reasonable.
